Mind Flayer Head Modeled by Joshua Guzman
Background
This project focuses on planes and proportions. Maintaining correct proportions for 3D models is essential for creating realistic and appealing characters, objects, and environments. A plane is a conceptual area having both length and width but no depth. A three dimensional volume is made of a series of planes.
Result
A 3D head/helmet made entirely out of corrugated cardboard, adhered with glue, and primed with white paint. The 3D head is resembled to look like a character from Dungeons and Dragons called a Mind Flayer and it is meant to be worn as a helmet.
