Background
Design and build a sculpture made entirely out of environmental materials. This project is inspired by Environmental Art, Environmental Art Sculpture, Land Art, Natural Architecture structures, Earth Works, and Landscape Architecture.
Result
The sculpture is made mostly of pieces of wood, bonded with natural hemp cord. The body resembles that of a deer's while the head is an abstract version of a deer's head/face. The antlers are made out of branches with the leaves still intact. My inspiration for deciding to build a 'deer' is because of my dog. I have a little chihuahua mix and to me, he resembles that of a deer and surprisingly leaps like one too.
Materials: pieces of wood with natural hemp cord
Dimensions: 28 x 13 x 36in.
